Every person and milestone moment is special, and so are our diamond rings. Such precious jewellery requires love and care. Once you're wearing your beautiful new ring daily, there are a few key things you can do to keep it in top condition. Firstly, make sure you have the claws of your diamond setting checked annually. This will make sure there hasn't been any accidental damage that could affect the security of your diamond setting.

Caring for your ring

  • Avoid stressors

    Remove your ring prior for activities that may cause damage to your ring, such as strenuous gym activities, contact sports, activities involving chemicals, heavy cleaning or gardening.

  • Avoid chemicals

    It's best to remove your jewellery prior to engaging in activities such as swimming in pools, the ocean, in hot tubs or mineral pools. Avoid exposure to perfumes, lotions, oils and cosmetics.

  • Regular cleaning

    Clean your ring on a weekly basis. A Diamond Dazzle Stik is the perfect way to do this. It is specially formulated to clean diamonds, precious stones, platinum and gold jewellery settings.

  • Careful storage

    In between wears, always store your jewellery in its box for safekeeping or anywhere that avoids rubbing against other jewellery or other objects, or being damaged in any other way.

Diamond Dazzle Stik

Diamond spa ritual

We all love a spa ritual, right? But your diamond ring will too. Here's how to keep your ring sparkling for years to come.

    Use your Diamond Dazzle Stik with warm water to clean your ring weekly. It helps remove any traces of daily grime that makes its way into the intricate setting of your ring. It even contains a specialised polymer to fill micro scratches in your jewellery. This takes less than a minute.

    Once a month, swap your dazzle stik for a soak. Simply soak your ring in a bowl with a solution of near-boiling water and a few drops of mild dishwashing liquid for around 5-10 minutes to break down all the dirt and oils. Gently brush all around your diamond, setting and ring with an old toothbrush.

    Whichever method you've used, now rinse your ring under clean warm water. Please remember to clean your rings in a bowl. To minimise the risk of loss, don't rinse or soak your jewellery directly in a sink.

    Dry your ring with a clean, lint-free cloth. By following these cleaning instructions, professional cleaning and polishing will only be required every 2-3 years.
